What is it?
TSFM features closed short films’ screening during the three days of market accessible only with a Torino Short Film Market 2018 accreditation. Also, a video library curated by the Torino Short Film Market programmers will be available for 6 months. Curated Programs are featured in the library for promotional purposes to users – such as buyers, distributors, festival representatives and other film professionals. Moreover the library features a selection of Guest Programs curated by third party bodies. Films not selected for the Curated Programs are still listed in the library and available to watch and be searched.
Since Torino Short Film Market is a closed event exclusively dedicated to film professionals, release status of films in TSFM 2018 Screenings + Video Library is not modified.
Who is it for?
The TSFM 2019 Screenings + Video Library is dedicated exclusively to Short Film filmmakers, directors and producers wishing to promote their films to a diversified and interested audience of cinema professionals: directors, producers, distributors, buyers and film institutions. Distribution companies can apply as well however they are recommended to submit a catalogue via Distributors Meet Buyers open call.
Since the library aims to feature only brand new contents, only short films completed in 2018 and 2019 are eligible to be submitted.
When is it?
The TSFM 2019 Screenings + Video Library will be available onsite during the 2019 Torino Short Film Market, between November 21st to 23rd. Moreover the library will be accessible online for the following 6 month since the end of the Torino Short Film Market 2019 to all the accredited professionals who attended the market in person.
However the deadline for sending a complete film subscription is September 16th 2019 at 11:59PM (CEST).

What do I win?
Sub-Ti Award. Subtitling services for the winning film in one of the following European languages: English, Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese or Polish.
Sub-Ti Access Award. Sub-Ti Access has been promoting a culture of accessibility in the film industry for many years, trying to raise awareness on inclusion and accessible versions for the visually and hearing impaired. The award consists of creating an accessible version of the winning film in either English or Italian.
How do I apply?
In order to send a film to the TSFM 2019 Screenings + Video Library applicants are required to:
• Register on the wesbite tsfm.filmchief.com (Username and password remain the same if the applicant has already taken part to a previous edition of TSFM since 2017. Forgotten credentials can be retrieved on the website)
• Submit a fully filled online entry form, accessible at this link
• The submitted short film should NOT EXCEED 30 minutes in duration
• The submitted short film should have been completed in 2018 or 2019 ONLY
• The submitted short film MUST have English subtitles embedded on the film if the dialogues are spoken in a language other than English
• The submitted short film MUST have been uploaded to Vimeo and be password protected (Please note that a password change at a later stage will prevent the short film to be seen on the Video Library)
Very Important Note
In order to make the film available in the library, the privacy settings of the video on Vimeo MUST BE set as follows:
Under the sub-section “Where can this video be embedded?” please chose one of the following options: “Anywhere” or “Only on sites I choose”. In case of the latter choice, please insert the following link https://tsfm.filmchief.com/screening-room/9 into the box. Please remember to click the SAVE button.
How much does it cost?
The TSFM 2019 Screenings + Video Library application costs 10 € for each film submission until the 26 of August (15€ until the 2 of September). The sum is payable only via Paypal at the end of the application submission process. Fee waivers are awarded only in exceptional cases to whoever might benefit from them, and are assigned at the complete discretion of the Torino Short Film Market organizers.
How do I get there?
Torino Short Film Market does not provide any travel, lodging or food refunds to the TSFM 2019 Screenings + Video Library film representatives of submitted films in order to participate to Torino Short Film Market 2019. Just in case of selection of a film in one of the Curated Programs of the TSFM 2019 Screenings + Video Library a free accreditation to Torino Short Film Market 2019 will be awarded to one film representative for each selected film. Other film representatives wishing to attend Torino Short Film Market 2019 will have to apply for an accreditation.
