The Knife Salesman, by Michael Leonard, 10’, Australia, 2017 > The Grafton Point, feature film project
A young couple, Christopher and Katherine, move to the insular bay-side community of Grafton Point where their idyllic new life is interrupted by Tom, a traveling knife salesman. The incident awakens hidden trauma in Katherine and breeds insecurity, doubt and jealousy in Christopher as he struggles with his inability to protect her.

A boy of ten sets off on a weekend trip with his father to explore the largest dam in Europe. This is the beginning of a long promised trip, but over the course of the journey the cracks in their relationship, and a broken family background, resurface. The flood barrier they end up facing is not the one they had once dreamed of.

Mustafa and his wife Salwa find themselves torn apart by the Israeli separation wall that divided the Palestinian landscape. When his son falls ill; and with no approved permission to reach his family, Mustafa finds himself on a challenging journey to break through the wall.
