What is it?
The Torino Short Film Market has a theatre entirely dedicated to VR contents open to guests accredited to the event. The theatre has been realized thanks to our main partner Proxima Milano. The VR contents entered at the TSFM will be selected by the TSFM selection committee and organized in programs for accredited guests. Access will be based on viewing devices available and demand.
Who is it for?
The call is particularly for producers, distributors and creators who want to extend their own VR market and make their work known. The contents must be dated 2019 or 2020.
When is it?
VR contents will be screened during the 2020 Torino Short Film Market, between November 19th to 21st. The exact date and time will be announced at a later stage.
However the deadline for sending a complete application is September 14th 2020 at 11:59PM (CEST). Applicants will receive a selection notice by the end of October.
Where is it?
VR contents screenings will take place at Circolo dei Lettori, Via Bogino 9, Torino, Italy – the 2020 Torino Short Film Market’s main location. For more info about the location please click here.
How do I apply?
In order to take part to the selection process of VR contents applicants are required to:
• Submit a fully filled online entry form here or on Filmfreeway.
Mandatory regulations
• The submitted VR should have been completed in 2019 or 2020 ONLY
• The submitted VR MUST have English subtitles embedded on the film if the dialogues are spoken in a language other than English
How much does it cost?
VR contents application costs 10€ for VR contents submission until the 26th of August (15€ until the 14th of September). The sum is payable only via Paypal at the end of the application submission process. Fee waivers are awarded only in exceptional cases to whoever might benefit from them, and are assigned at the complete discretion of the Torino Short Film Market organizers.
How do I get there?
Torino Short Film Market does not provide any travel, lodging or food refunds to the VR contents representatives of submitted films in order to participate to Torino Short Film Market 2020. Just in case of selection of a VR a free accreditation to Torino Short Film Market 2020 will be awarded to one film representative for each selected VR. Other VR representatives wishing to attend Torino Short Film Market 2020 will have to apply for an accreditation.
