XR: Funding & Development Opportunities
Thanks to the growing excitement for cinematic innovative experiences and digital storytelling, many institutions and funding bodies are not only including XR as part of their funded projects — as Creative Europe MEDIA has been doing since 2007 — but are now also actively supporting the establishment of a dedicated market, so that opportunities of development for XR content creators arose all over Europe are increasing. We talk to the representatives of some of said institutions — the Institut Français Italie (presenting the Residence XR Farnese – Medici), the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and the Veneto Film Commission (presenting their funding schemes for Innovative Content), introduced by the CED Italy MEDIA Torino.
